Event Details

On 12 March, after the conference, there will be field trip options available to conference attendees. Field trips are always a highlight of Bonsucro Global Week, and tickets will be available to purchase nearer the time of the event.  

 

Participants will explore real examples of sustainability in action in cane-growing farms and sugar mills. More details coming soon.

Field Trip Option 1: Sugarcane Supply Chain & Research in Uttar Pradesh

Event Details

Dates: 12–13 March 2026 

Location: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 
Cost:

This two-day field trip takes delegates into the heart of Uttar Pradesh’s sugarcane sector to explore innovation, sustainability, and farmer engagement. Participants will visit DCM Shriram Sugar Complex and learn about their pioneering farmer support systems, followed by research and community engagement visits in Lucknow. 

What's included

  • Dedicated Farmer Call Centre – a direct support line connecting farmers with timely advice, troubleshooting, and expert guidance.
  • Meetha Sona Project – a flagship programme designed to improve crop yields while reducing the environmental footprint of sugarcane farming.
  • SFS Business – a specialised service providing farmers with high-quality agricultural inputs such as seeds, fertilisers, and other essential materials.

What's not included

  • Evening return to Lucknow.

Visa Information

    • All attendees are responsible for obtaining the necessary visa to attend BGW in New Delhi, India.
    • Bonsucro cannot apply for or guarantee the granting of visas.

    Terms and Conditions

    Cancellation Policy: 
    If you cannot attend Bonsucro Global Week due to changing plans or visa issues, you are encouraged to send a substitute attendee at any time, including on the day of the event. If you must cancel after payment, a refund will be issued minus a 20% cancellation fee, provided a written request is received by 10 February 2026 at bgw@bonsucro.com. No refunds will be given after this date.
